It was with shock and sadness that I learned of Tom's passing. He was truely one of a kind.

Joyce and family,

Tom was working in H.R. at Gast when I applied for a job there in 1977, and I am still here. He was also my boss for a short time in the "Order Entry" department. He was such a fun guy to work with - we still tell Tom Handy stories all the time. In fact - we were just telling one the other day. He was such a character - really one of a kind and even though we haven't seen him for years - we will still feel the loss and remember him always. My sincere sympathies to all of you.

Dear Joyce and Family,

You do not know how often we talk of Tom here at Gast. I have been at Gast for 30 years and I can say he is my most memorable character. And what a character he was. He was one of the most kind-hearted, fun-loving person I ever had the luck of knowing. Once in awhile somebody will say something which will remind you of a "Tom story" and all here at Gast who remember Tom will get a grin on their faces and we all settle in for some of best memories of Gast we all have.

You and your family will remain in my prayers as Tom will remain in my memory.

Ruth and I enjoyed working with Tom at ASU. He was always ready with a friendly smile and many times a humorous, uplifting story. ASU was fortunate to have Tom work here. Best to the family.
