Thomas Lawerence Harris, age 83, died peacefully in is home, Arvada Colorado, surrounded by family on December 14th , 2023.Thomas was born in West Virginia January 16, 1940 along with 4 siblings. He was drafted to the Vietnam War where he was a Green Beret Sargent Special Forces in the Vietnam War. He went on to marry Evalyn Defries on August 23, 1969. They have seen 54 years of wedded bliss. During this time, he was employed with Frontier Airlines for many years. He was survived by his wife, Evalyn, two daughters, late Nikki Mollendor and Tre' Foltz. Son in law, Aaron Foltz. He had 3 grandchildren, Kayla Olsen, Hailey Mollendor and Trevor Foltz. One grandson in law Kyl Olsen. He loved to be social and never knew a stranger, he enjoyed gatherings and his martini's. He was a loving and supportive father to his daughter's softball games. He was an avid gardener, which he enjoyed very much. He could grow anything and enjoyed giving neighbors the fruits of his labor. He grew many grapes and made jelly from them every year.
Please honor him by helping fellow Veterans as he has taught us to do. Thomas's wishes are to be cremated with no service. In lieu of flowers, please remember him by planting seeds in your own garden.
