Tom Jenkins Obituary

HUDSON - Tom Hale Jenkins, 92, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025.
Tom is survived by his wife of 65 years, Anne Hunter Jenkins, and two sons, Stephen (partner Ellen), of Bay Village, OH, and Tim, of Atlanta, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earle and Marion, and his identical twin brother, Tim Jenkins (Joan).
Tom was born on April 1, 1933, in Cleveland and was a graduate of Cleveland Heights High School. He graduated from Yale University in 1955 and then served two years in the U.S. Army. After the Army, Tom worked at, and owned, several businesses related to automotive financing, leasing and credit insurance.
Tom was an avid runner and won the gold medal in the 400-meter dash for his age group at the 2013 Senior Games. He enjoyed the Cleveland Orchestra, the opera and attending summer concerts at Blossom Music Center. He was also fortunate to be able to travel the world with Anne.
A private memorial service will take place at a later date at Laurel Lake in Hudson.
Should friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the Laurel Lake Foundation, 200 Laurel Lake Drive, Hudson, OH 44236 ~ www.laurellake.org ~ or to a charity of your choosing in Tom's memory. (REDMON, STOW, 330-688-6631).
