Thomas J. Squillo, 65, of Shenango Township passed away the afternoon of December 23, 2025 at his residence.
Born in New Castle on October 23, 1960, Tom was the son of the late Frank and Lottie Roth Squillo.
On October 27, 1984 Tom married his beloved wife, the former Marcy Volpe. Marcy survives at home.
In the early years Tom worked as a Respiratory Therapist. He then went on to graduate from St. Francis School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. He continued his education at Youngstown State University and worked for twenty-two years as a Nurse Anesthetist at Allegheny General Hospital.
Tom was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church. He enjoyed traveling. A loving husband and father, his greatest joy was his family. Tom loved entertaining family and friends, especially during the holidays and was always the life of the party.
In addition to his wife, Tom is survived by his son, Tommy Squillo, two brothers, Pete Squillo (Darlene) and Frank Squillo.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Squillo and his sister, Rene' Marrangoni.
Visitation will be on Monday 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road. A procession will leave the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:45 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
