OBITUARY
Tom James Stevens II, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and potter, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2024, at the age of 52, after a long and difficult battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Born on February 2, 1972, in Atlanta, Georgia, T.J. spent his formative years in Good Hope, Georgia.
A man of many talents, T.J. was a skilled carpenter who turned his passion for creation into a love of pottery and folk-art painting. He was also an Eagle Scout, a testament to his character and dedication.
T.J. was preceded in death by his father, Tom Stevens and is survived by his mother, Wynette Stevens of Good Hope, GA, his sister, Kellie Gilmore of Ladson, SC, nieces Peyton Gilmore of Ladson, SC and Ashley Kate Dieguez of Milton, FL, and his four sons: Andrew, Jon Tom, Briar, and Moses of Blairsville, GA. He is also survived by his three grandchildren.
T.J. will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at the George Peters Municipal Building (Good Hope City Hall) on Monday December 16th at 1:00 PM.
