Ester Darlene Wilbanks Muse

Ester Darlene Muse, 95, of Albany, GA passed away, Friday, December 26, 2025 at her residence. Private services will be held.

Darlene was born in Monroe, Ga and attended business school in Atlanta, GA after high school. During her working career she worked in accounting/bookeeping and even in her nineties her CPA, Dennis Hester wanted to hire her during tax season. She enjoyed golfing, sewing, cross stitching, needlepoint and knitting. She was a member of First Methodist Church, Albany, GA.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wyndell Garnett Muse, niece, Deborah Dyer, parents, Clarence Johnson Wilbanks and Nannie Mearl Byrd Wilbanks. 

Survivors include sister, Annette Graham, Warner Robins, GA, step-daughter, Lynda Clark, Monroe, GA, niece, Sandra G. Athon -Teston, nephew, Joseph L. Graham, Jr. and a number of great- nephews and great-nieces. Cherished memories are left with special longtime family friend Carol Griffin Boyd.

The family would like to give special recognition to Georgia Hospice Care and to the following caregivers: Melissa Willett, Ilene Prince, Gloria Robinson, Patricia Wesley, Felisha Gilbert and Kaneisha Jackson.
