Tom Stiebler, 81, of Libertyville, Illinois, died unexpectedly at home. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dolores, his parents Alfred and Ardath Stiebler, of Northbrook, Illinois, his brother, Douglas Stiebler, his uncle, James (Iona) Schell, his uncle and aunt Evan and June Stiebler, cousins: Kay Stiebler Andreasen, Robert Nowak, Jr. and Lois Herman (Rear Admiral Robert) Abele. Tom is survived by his sister-in-law Carole Stiebler, his cousins: Marjorie Breitenfield, Laurel (Dennis Skrade) Stiebler, Denise Nowak, Tara Spikes, Tanya Suwannapal, Theresa Meisenbach, Dorothy House, Amber Burling, Diane Taggart, Jeff Schell, Keith (Rita) Schell, Amanda Schell Sierts, Finn Sierts, Emma Sierts, Patty (Tom) Pahl, Rick (Kelly) Schell, Jessica Schell, Ally Schell, Brooklyn Schell, Steve Schell, John Gorzell, Harry Husberg, Terry Husberg, Burke Husberg, and Tina Stevenson Husberg, and Kelly Abele Rose.

Growing up in Northbrook, Tom attended Glenbrook High School and went on to earn a Math degree from the University of Illinois. Tom served in the army and spent the rest of his career working in IT in the insurance industry.

Among other activities, Tom enjoyed music, tennis, and walking along the Des Plaines wooded area near his house. Tom was devoted to his wife, Dolores, and his family. He was a sweet, smart and loving person who will be greatly missed. Per Tom's wishes, he will be cremated, but no services will be held.

To Tom´s family;
You have my sincere condolences, I was honored to be his barber since 2010, he came to my home for his haircuts since 2019, always stopping first at the Riverside bake shop for his favorite Danish here in McHenry. A very sweet, gentleman, I will miss his visits,
