Tommy Lee White (Tom) of Cawker City, Kansas passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at the age of 86. Tom was born October 10, 1937, in Walsenburg, CO and lived in Riverton and Sutton, NE before settling in Cawker City. Proceeded in death by his beloved mother Violet Reams White and father Leroy White, eight brothers and sisters, Daniel, Jack, Violet, Beula, Gladis, Roy, Madge, and Hazel. Tom is survived by his five children Debbie (Ron) Seifried of Colorado, Peggy White of Colorado, Steven White of Kansas, Micheal (Beverly) white of Idaho, and Tommy White of Nebraska, Two stepchildren Pam Woodard of Nebraska and Dennis White of Nebraska. Tom had 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, countless number of close Neice’s nephews, cousins, and friends. Tom enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and watching football. He was a man of many grand adventures and great stories who will be missed by everyone who got the pleasure of knowing him. “I pray that I may live to fish until my dying day. When it comes to my last cast, I then most humbly pray; When in the Lord’s great landing net and peacefully asleep that in His mercy I be judged big enough to keep.” Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 9th, 2024, at 11:00am at Hutchins Funeral Home in Franklin Nebraska, burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers the family request donations be made directly to the Hutchins funeral home in Franklin Nebraska for funeral and travel expenses.
