Tom "Tommy" Witte, age 54, of Manhattan and formerly of New Lenox passed away September 18, 2026.

Preceded in death by his grandparents Paul & Patricia Witte and Michael & Mary Connolly; uncles Mike, Kevin, & Pat Connolly and Kent Roude Bush; aunt Julie Connolly; and cousin Patrick Connolly.

Survived by his parents Mary (nee Connolly) and Tom Witte; siblings Mary Catherine (Jeff) Cameron, Michael Joseph (Beata) Witte, Kiely Patricia (Cliff) LaPaso, Neely Ann (Nick) Geiss, Rory Gerard (Caitlin) Witte, and Brendan Patrick (Alma) Witte; nieces Kailey, Reagan & Molly Cameron, Moira & Makenzie Geiss, and Shealyn Witte; nephews Keighan Witte, C.J. LaPasso, Tino Garfias, Danny Geiss, Rory Witte, and Jaxson Witte; aunts & uncles Sharon Connolly, Robert Connolly, Mary (nee Witte) & Mike Veth, Gerald & Judith Witte, Anne (nee Witte) and Jerry Niezer, Denise (nee Witte) Roudebush-Zembala & Larry, Timothy & Lois Witte, David Witte Keneavey & Eileen, Jo Ellen (nee Witte) & Mike Ionni, and Mark & Kris Witte; and numerous cousins.

Tommy was a resident of 14949 Bruns in Manhattan- one of the many CILA Homes Supported by Trinity Services. He was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Fr. Dick Allen Council #10926 at St Jude Parish in New Lenox. He worked at various day programs operated by Trinty; including Horticulture, Wood Works, and At Old Plank Trail. His outgoing personality lit up the room when he entered. He always had a nice compliment for anyone who approached him, whether family or stranger, - and he never forgot a name or promise he received. He enjoyed parties with his family and Trinity housemates & staff.

Visitation Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 3 – 8 PM at Hickey Memorial Chapel, 2100 Calistoga Drive, New Lenox, IL 60451.
