Tomekia Shontrell Harry was born on September 12, 1978, in Bogalusa, LA to the parentage of Anita Harry and Mr. Michael O'Neal Robinson, at Bogalusa Community Medical Center. She departed her earthly life on March 18, 2025.
She received her early elementary education at Varnado Elementary School. During her teenage years, she relocated to California, and was schooled at Adelanto Middle School and Silverado High School, where she was a member of the Class of 1996. Tomekia was employed by Midway Concession for ten years. It was such a joy for her to travel and meet different people all over the country, but her greatest joy was always seeing homefolks.
Tomekia leaves to cherish her precious memories: her parents, Anita Harry (Gregory) Howard of Port Arthur, TX and Michael O'neal (Mary) Robinson of Bogalusa, LA; her children Tamesha Morgan of Houston, TX, Maliyah Harry of New Orleans, LA, and Gregory Howard Howard of Port Arthur, TX; her siblings, Myesha (Shelly Haynes) Harry of Angie, LA, Larry W. (Sherick) Harry of Dallas, TX, Andrena (Michael) Brown of Georgia, and Angelia (Anthony)Jackson of Bogalusa, LA; her grandparents, William T. Foster,Jr. and Barbara Harry; her aunts, Shondalon Foster, Samantha Harry, and Carmeletta Guy; her uncles, Undra (Quiana) McKenzie and Ricardo (Craynetheia) Harry; a great-aunt Mary- May; her Godmother Betty (Wilbert) Mickens; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Minister Ella M. Foster; her maternal grandfather, James C. Harry; her paternal grandmother, Emma Robinson; her brother, Michael Robinson; and her aunts, Melissa Foster and Nanette Blackwell
