Tomi Rene Lowe

Tomi Rene Lowe, 96, of Amarillo, TX passed away peacefully at Dayspring Assisted Living in Plano, TX on Thursday, August 22, 2024.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Llano Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel in Amarillo with Rev. Will Esler, pastor of Westminster Presbyterian Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Tomi was born in Altus, OK on February 12, 1928, to Thomas and Irene Rogers. The family moved to Cyril, OK, shortly after she was born. Tomi graduated from Cyril High School in 1946. She married Kenneth Dale Fowler of Cyril later that year. They had one daughter, Nicki Fowler Arnold PsyD. The family lived in Cyril, Lawton, and Roswell, NM before moving to Amarillo in 1956. Kenneth passed away in 1969. Tomi married Wayne Lowe in 1975. Wayne passed away in 2013.

Tomi worked as an auditor for the Milk Market Administration Department of the US Government. She also worked as a licensed realtor in Amarillo and volunteered at Northwest Texas Hospital. She was a longtime member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Amarillo. She loved her family, Bridge, and did elaborate needlepoint work.

Tomi is survived by her daughter, Nicki Arnold PsyD, son-in-law, Tom Arnold, two grandsons, Kris Arnold and Brandon Arnold, and five great-grandchildren, Alexis, Rowan, Cannon, Cooper and Ethan.
