Tommy Burkhart Obituary
Mr. Tommy Gray Burkhart, age 71, of Claudville, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025 at the Joan and Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. He was born on September 13, 1953 in Surry County to the late Victor Burkhart and Nancy Burkhart Johnson. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Joseph (Tina) Nester, Brad (Hannah) Burkhart, Jamie Burkhart, and Greg Burkhart; fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sisters, Lisa Tate, Bonnie (Emerson) Collins; brothers, Donnie Bowman, Dale Bowman, Duke Boyd, and Tony Boyd; Uncle, A. Burkhart. In addition to his parents Mr. Burkhart was preceded in death by his wife Susan Nester; son, Kelly Burkhart; sisters, Denise Churchwell and Connie Boyd; brother, Jeffrery Wayne Bowman. A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
