LANCASTER, SC – Mr. Ronald Thomas "Tommy" Frost, age 78, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025 at his home. He was born April 13, 1947,a son of the late Paul Howard Frost and the late Carol Geneva King Frost and was the loving husband of Elizabeth "Beth" Cross Winn. Tommy was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who loved his family very much.

Tommy was a passionate outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. Tommy cherished the tranquility of the woods. Tommy was a dedicated collector of guns and ammunition, a passion he lovingly shared with his son-in-law and grandchildren. He always ensured that Beth and his daughters felt safe and protected.

In his younger days, he thrived on long adventures at Lake Wylie or Lake Wateree, pushing his limits with barefoot skiing or slalom.

He had a deep love for speed, whether racing go carts at Douglas, tearing through the water in his Dynasty, Reinell, SeaFlash, Chaparral, or Mariah boats, or cruising in his red Corvette, 78 Little Red Express truck, or 34 Ford Cabriolet. Tommy found joy in tinkering with his collection of high-speed toys.

Mornings often found him savoring coffee at Eckerd's, and in his later years, at Railey's Golf Course. Always sharply dressed in a plaid shirt and khaki pants, Tommy loved shagging and spending time with friends at the Moose Lodge.

After a long career as an electrician at Bowater, he retired but never set down his toolbox, always ready to lend a hand to family and friends.

Tommy will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but his memory will live on in cherished moments-quiet mornings wandering through the woods in search of deer or turkey, serene days gliding across Lake Wateree under perfect skies, and joyful times when a shagging song plays, bringing to mind his Penny Loafers and warm smile.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Beth Winn; his two daughters, Rhonda Frost Fortune, and Nicole Frost Gardner (Britt); his five grandchildren, Thomas White (Johanna), Mary Beth White, Lauren White (Ivan), Brauton Gardner, and Bradock Gardner; his four great-grandchildren, Coral, Rilynn, Kiano, and Hudson; his sister, Deborah Frost Hayne; and many other special family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Carol Frost.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Tommy will be 12:00 pm Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at First Baptist Church Lancaster officiated by Pastor Randy Hatcher.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, one hour prior to the service in the family life center.
