Tommy A. Grant

It is with deep sadness that we acknowledge the death of Tommy A. Grant, who passed away on the morning of February 23, 2026, at Sharp Grossmont Hospital, after suffering from a massive heart attack.

Tommy was born January 20, 1970, to Mother Elaine Carter (preceded in death), Father Archie Douglas. He had two sisters Kimberly LaVon Davis of Hemet, Ca., Deeatta Elizabeth Carter of San Diego, Ca.

Tommy Graduated from Will C. Crawford High School and later enlisted in the Army. He had a great love for fishing, music, sports, and was loved for his humor, and some even lovingly called him "Tomedy".

He is survived by 3 children, Jasmin Faith Manns of Raleigh, North Carolina, Jaihrae McIntyre of Augusta, Georgia, and Jayden Nasheed Grant of San Diego, Ca., Aunt Gwendolyn Grant of San Diego, Ca., Aunt Al-Vetrice Ford of San Diego, Ca., Aunt Evelyn Lorraine Grant of San Diego, Ca, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and six grandchildren.
