Tommy Alen Hodge II, born on August 30, 1979, in Franklin County, Ohio, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on March 20, 2026, at his home in Washington Court House, Ohio.
Tommy was a huge Ohio State Football fan, he was deeply invested not only in the games but also in every off-season development impacting the team. His enthusiasm extended beyond football to include fishing, billiards, and target shooting with his crossbow. Additionally, Tommy enjoyed the camaraderie and strategy involved in playing cards, especially Euchre and Poker.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Anna (Ward) Hodge; children Darrien Loew, Destiny Hodge (Terrence Mann), Tommy Hodge III, Cameron Dillon, Michael Ward, and Shyann Bartruff; grandchildren, Laelani Deng, Elliana Deng, Taedyn Mann, Aunora Loew, Autumn Saunders, Stevie Vaughan, Zaiden Ward, Eliza Ward, Stormy Ward, Ivy Salisbury, Rowan King, and Franklynn King.
Tommy also leaves behind his three sisters, Darcy Rimer, Cinda Rimer, and Sherry Sonner, as well as a wide circle of nieces and nephews: Charles "Dirt" King, Tesla King, Marina Hernandez, Kaitlyn Sonner, Jessica Sonner, Tia Wilson, Desiree Rimer, Amber Rimer, and Ronald Williams, as well as other extended family and his many friends.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy and Cynthia (Shook) Hodge, sisters, Michelle Rimer and Tammy Spencer, and a nephew, Ledgend Spencer.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place with no formal services scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Ohio State Foundation.
Tommy’s unexpected passing leaves a profound void among his family and friends. His presence will be deeply missed and remembered by all who knew him.
