Tommy James

Tommy James passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 60.  He was born on February 11, 1966, in Osceola, Arkansas to Wallace Sanders and Christine Williams. He is preceded by his fathers: Wallace Sanders and Eddie James, four brothers Willie James, Eddie James, Jessie James Sr. and Larry James Sr. and five sisters Ann James, Earnestine Slaughter, Rosemary Dunn, Patricia Moore and Matilda Jefferson. Tommy is survived by his mother Christine James of Jonesboro, Arkansas, two brothers Pastor Harold James of Osceola, Arkansas and David James of Osceola, Arkansas, two sisters Leatha Voss of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Annie Tate of Jonesboro, Arkansas, several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 2:00p.m. at New Mt Pleasant Church in Osceola, Arkansas, with Overseer Harold James officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 1:00p.m. until service time at New Mt Pleasant Church in Osceola. Interment will follow at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, Arkansas.
