It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Etheridge "Tommy" Robbins, who left us on March 9, 2025 at the age of 51. Tommy was a native of Statesboro, GA and was the beloved youngest son of the late Jerry and Hilda Robbins of Statesboro, GA. Though he never married and had no children, Tommy was deeply cherished by his extended family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a kind, compassionate person who brought joy and warmth to those around him. Tommy will be remembered forever as a Florida State Seminole Fan! He had a love for all sports, especially basketball and Formula One Racing. In addition for his love of athletics, he also had a quirky collection of comic books and ink pens! Tommy was a true dedicated brother, uncle, and friend to everyone. He always knew how to make everyone smile! Tommy is survived by brothers, Tim and Connie Robbins, Andy and Rhonda Robbins, Mark Robbins, and brother-in-law Tony Cassedy. He had several nieces and nephews; Nikki Robbins, Tyler (Victoria) Robbins, Brant (Corrie) Robbins, Trai (Rachel) Robbins, Ashley (Kenny) Ford, Russell (Lacey) Robbins, Betty Jean (William) Malarkey, Megan Robbins, Jaylen (Sierra) Cassedy, Justin (Leighann) Cassedy, Zachary Robbins, Anna Robbins; and many great nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents, his brother (Mike Robbins), his sister (Tessa Cassedy), his sister-in-law (Sue Robbins), and his nephew (Jerry Robbins). While he did not have children of his own, Tommy leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He touched the lives of so many and will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Joiner Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro. Interment will be private at Lower Lotts Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may sign the online register book at www.joineranderson.com. I'm so sorry to hear about Tommy's passing. I remember babysitting both Tessa and Tommy. They were very good and loving children. I've missed aunt Hildas, Tessa and Tommy funeral. Just by not keeping in touch with their wonderful family and life passing us by. Love all of you and I'm so sorry for your loss. Much love. Barbara Herb
