Tommy Upton Obituary
Tommy was born January 11, 1933, in Asher, OK, to his parents Emory Upton and Mildred Mae (Sales) Upton. He attended school in Shawnee, OK, before starting a career with Phillips 66. On April 22, 1953, Tommy married the love of his life Jewell Ann Upton.
He is preceded in death by his wife Jewell Upton; his father Emory Upton; his mother Mildred Upton; two sisters; and four brothers.
Tommy is survived by his daughter Judy Lea Hudson and her husband John of Albuquerque, NM; Brad Upton and wife Ginny of Dewey, OK; his sister Pamela Yort of Shawnee, OK; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 24, at 11am, at Ethel Reece Cemetery in Barnsdall and is under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home and Crematory.

So sad to hear of Tom´s passing. He and Judy blessed our family in countless ways. They loved our baby David like he was their own. My favorite memory of Tom was one of the many times he and Judy were babysitting David. I arrived at their house to pick up David (who was probably 7 or 8 months old) and Judy met me at the door. She told me to be quiet and follow her. We tip toed into the den and there was Tom sound asleep in his recliner with David sleeping on his chest. Just 2 guys taking an afternoon nap. It was so sweet! Thank you Jesus for blessing my family with the Upton´s and the assurance that I´ll see them again in Heaven!!!
