Adrienne Nicole "Audri" Upton, age 41, passed away on January 12, 2026, at her home in Chippewa Lake, Michigan. Adrienne was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on January 21, 1984, and had a strong, independent spirit that defined her throughout her life. Adrienne fought so hard until the very end, facing life’s challenges with courage and determination, and she did it her way all the way through.
She was proud of her education and work accomplishments. Adrienne had a wide range of passions and interests. She loved horses, music, video games, and found peace and joy in kayaking. She lived life unapologetically, and on her own terms. Above all, Adrienne had a deep and unconditional love for her nephews, who held a special place in her heart, and her beloved bulldogs, Suede and Gladys, who brought her comfort and joy.
Adrienne is survived by her mother, Cullyne Raynette Cole; her siblings, Daryl Cole and Cortney Cole; her nephews, Gregory Roberts, Corey Roberts, and Zachary Roberts; and her aunts and uncles, Cheryl and Rich Gregorio, Steve and Gail Cole, and Kevin and Doneen Cole. She is preceded in death by her father, Gregory Kim Cole; and her grandparents, Steve and Cullyne Brown and Gerald and Dorothy Cole.
Adrienne will be remembered for her fierce independence, her sharp mind, her stubborn determination, and the deep love she carried for her family and those closest to her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved and remembered.
