Tommy Wayne (Tom) Corbell, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 8, 2025. He was born in Bastrop, Texas, on October 29, 1946.
Tom married the love of his life, Gloria Cisneros Corbell, on January 10, 1970, in Bastrop, Texas. Together, they shared many years of cherished memories until her passing in 2021.
Tom had a successful career in the book and magazine distribution industry. He found joy and peace in golfing, fishing, and, of course, watching his favorite team, the Houston Astros. He always enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved watching college football and basketball.
Tom is survived by his three children: his daughter, Sabrina Corbell Koenn, and her husband, Terry; and his two sons, Eric Corbell, and his wife, Amy, and David Corbell. He was the proud grandfather of eight grandchildren: Tiffany, Megan, Shannon, Shelby, Sarah, Heather, Jack, and Julia; and three great-grandchildren: Trey, Babe, and Ace.
Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Cisneros Corbell, and his parents, Jack and Alma Lea Corbell.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on January 17, 2025 at Bateman Cemetery in Red Rock, Texas.
Tom will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
