McCullough Funeral HomeTommy Donald Wehrle, 69, peacefully passed away on the afternoon of Friday, March 27, 2026. He was born in Macon, GA on April 13, 1956, and was a 1974 graduate of Southwest High School. Tommy retired after 40 years in the convenience store business. He was employed by TCR of Byron and Davis Oil Company of Perry. Tommy worked his way up from cashier to District Manager. His favorite hobby was collecting Hot Wheel Cars. Tommy had tons of cars unopened at his home. He also enjoyed owning a variety of cars and trucks during his lifetime.
Tommy was preceded in death by his adopted parents, Don and Lola Wehrle; his spouse, Vickie Wehrle; his niece, Sonja Socarras; and former spouse, Beverly Elaine Atkinson.
Survivors include his son, Christopher Wehrle; sister, Judy Everidge (Randy); nieces, Renee Barreth (Mike), Ammie Campbell (Brandon), and Avery Eddy (Brian Young); and nephews, Donnie Radford (Sherry) and Eli Eddy. He also had a host of cousins. His cousin, Sandra Lang, was his best friend. Tommy is also survived by his mother-in-law, Barbara Deese, father-in-law, Larry Deese; and sister-in-law, Sharon Eddy (Jerry).
Tommy will be laid to rest with a graveside funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in memory of Tommy to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Rd., Macon, GA 31210.
