Toni Fox Irish was born in Frankfurt on the Main, Germany, the beloved daughter of two decorated World War II veterans, Vernon and Mary Fox. She grew up in Edwardsville, Illinois, and attended Edwardsville High School. She studied Computer Science at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and later moved to Eugene, Oregon. She served as an Emergency Communications Coordinator for the Lane County Sheriff's Office, where she was both well liked and deeply respected by her colleagues and the community. After retiring from public service, Toni relocated to West Virginia and eventually settled in Chesterfield, Missouri, where she lived with her daughter and son-in-law Angela and John Sastry.

Toni was known for her gentle, non-judgmental spirit and her wonderful sense of humor. She had a lifelong love of reading and exploring the outdoors. She enjoyed trying new things and was always up for an adventure. Her kindness and acceptance touched everyone around her.

She will be deeply missed by her children, Angela Sastry (John), Jesse Irish and Nicholas Irish (Camilla), and her cherished grandchildren: Ryan, Trinity, Zachary, Sofia, Ian, and Emily. Toni will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Forest Hills Country Club, 36 Forest Club Dr, Chesterfield, MO 63005, on Saturday, September 27th, 2025. Receiving and condolences will be from 11:00- 12:00 PM, family will receive visitors for condolences and support during this time. The Celebration of Life program will follow at 12:00 PM.

Memorial donations to the Eugene Owen Rose Garden or the St. Louis Art Museum are welcome and will honor Toni's lifelong love of nature and the arts.

Bill and I had the special privilege of sharing time for many years with Toni. Our combined love for our grand daughters, Trinity and Sofia gave us a unbreakable bond. So many events whether it was a birthday or a family gathering at Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter. We always enjoyed each other's company. It was great sadness that we felt upon hearing of her passing.
And, of course the concern for all of you her family. What a legacy she left of love! We hold you all close to our hearts and lift you in prayers as you celebrate a wonderful life lived by her.

Such a tremendous loss for your family. Toni loved you all so much and spoke of you often when she worked at Central Lane 911.

Toni was incredibly kind when I was first hired at 911. It was a rough environment and Toni was a patient mentor with her new coworkers. She cared deeply about the quality of service provided to our citizens, officers and firefighters. I am glad she was able to have so many years with her family following her retirement.

So sorry for the family's loss. I remember Toni fondly from our work at Central Lane 911. She was a good kind person which was reflected in how she handled callers as well as officers/firefighters.
