Toni Masterson was a cherished wife, mother and nana with a fun-loving personality. It is with a heavy heart that we announce she went home to see her Lord and Savior on October 27, 2024, at the age of 79 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease, surrounded by her husband and children.
Toni (West) Masterson was born November 10, 1944, to H.A. and Juanita West in Houston, Texas. She graduated high school in Weatherford, Texas in 1963. She married her sweetheart Donald Masterson June 21, 1963. They had two children, Kerri and Keith. She was a bank employee as a teller in Mineral Wells for 38 years. She loved her five grandchildren, and you could always find her and Don at any one of the grandkids sports games and loved scrapbooking photos of them. Toni was a huge Elvis fan and had Elvis radio on in her car and Elvis playing at home.
She made every holiday and birthday so special, but Christmas was always made so memorable with gifts stacked high and stockings overflowing. She had such a great way to make everyone feel special. Toni was preceded in death by her parents, a grandchild- Carson Keith Masterson, and a brother-Odell West and brother in law Wilbur Masterson.
She is survived by her husband Donald Masterson, her two children Kerri Wright with her spouse Jeremy Wright and Keith Masterson with his spouse Missy Masterson, five grandchildren Justin Wright, Jonathan Wright, Adrian Masterson, Dillon Masterson and Presley Masterson, a brother Robert West, a sister Mona Tidrow, sister in law Diann Masterson-Kuhn , brother in law Winford Masterson and many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be Wednesday October 30th from 6:00-8:00pm at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. The service will also be at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Thursday October 31st at 10:00am followed by a graveside prayer at Indian Creek Cemetery.
