It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Toni Kay Sanders, a beloved wife, daughter, sister, and friend. Toni was born on December 10, 1960, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She embraced life with a passion that was evident in all she did. Toni was a beloved child of God and loved to faithfully teach Sunday School. Toni was a faithful voice in the choir every Sunday. Toni shared the love of Christ with everyone she met. From her academic pursuits to her remarkable career as an IT Administrator in the field of Information Technology. Toni earned her Master’s degree and made significant contributions to her profession, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike.
A resident of Apopka, Florida, Toni found joy in the vibrant community around her, forming lasting friendships that reflected her warmth and kindness. She is survived by her devoted husband, Dale Sanders, who stood by her side through life’s journeys, sharing in laughter, love, and countless cherished memories. She is also survived by her loving sister Tami Tate, who was her longest friend.
Toni will be remembered for her intelligence, her unwavering dedication to her work, and her compassionate spirit. She had a unique ability to bring people together, always lending a listening ear and a helping hand. Her legacy will continue to resonate in the lives of those who loved her.
A memorial service is January 10, 2026 at 11am at Lockhart Church

As we bid farewell to Toni, we hold onto the treasured moments shared with her—memories that will illuminate our hearts forever. May she rest in peace.
Toni was also survived by extended Family Cindy Hale, David Sanders, Kristy Kaye Sanders.
Toni was preceded in death by her parents: Calvin Tate and Lucy Benfield.
