Johnson – Tonia Renee Johnson, age 64, of Callahan, Florida passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born on June 22, 1961, in Douglas, Georgia. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Tonia, cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Her warmth and presence were a constant source of comfort and joy to those around her. Whether gathered around the kitchen table or enjoying a quiet afternoon together, she found true fulfillment in the company of her family. Tonia had a special fondness for collecting bears. Her collection was more than a hobby; it was an expression of her appreciation for meaningful connections and cherished memories. Tonia also found great peace and happiness in the mountains. Pigeon Forge in Tennessee and the Blue Ridge Mountains in Georgia were among her favorite places and held a special place in her heart. Her legacy lives on through the love she gave so freely and the memories she created with those fortunate enough to know her. Tonia is preceded in death by her mother, Geraldine Wright.

Tonia leaves behind her loving husband, Marvin Edwin Johnson, Jr.; children, Chad (Amanda) Johnson, Marvin (Debony) Johnson, III, Justin (Brittney) Johnson, Lisa Bryant; brother, Johnny (Vicky) Wright; sisters, Melinda (John) Rowe, Sheila Fowler; grandchildren, Cody, Kaden, Kailey, Emberlin, Mariah, Marvin, IV, Dillan, Easton, Briley, Aven, Jaylen, Myah; great grandchildren, Aubrey and Raelynn.

A Celebration Service for Tonia's Life will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Nassau Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Barney and Bro. Wayne Higginbotham officiating. Interment will follow at River Road Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
