We at the Avondale Church Of Christ are saddened to hear of the death of our dear sister Tonja. She was so kind and loving, always concerned about our family, especially my wife and daughters. We got a chance to speak just a few short weeks ago. She will be missed at Avondale. Her steadfastness in the gospel is something we all appreciated. And her kindness, concern, and her beautiful smile is something we will always cherish

Joe and I were so very sorry to hear of Tonja´s transition to the other side of life! However, those who are absent from the body, are at home with the Lord! We will miss our frequent text messages and our visit to Charleston two years ago and attending the Azalea Drive Church of Christ at Tonja´s suggestion!
May the family especially her twin Sister Sonya and Mother Sister Vernell cherish the everlasting memories they shared and her love dedication to the Church provide healing comfort and inner peace in the days weeks and months to follow!
In Christian Love,
