Tony Goodwin Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
The Funeral Service, conducted by Mick Woodard, will be held in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet on Wednesday, September 17th, 2025 at 01:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service in Leeville Cemetery with Ray Justice, Wayne Cates, Johnny Goodall, Stan Cowan, Michael Reed, and Tony Brasher serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 16th from 04:00 p.m. – 08:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, September 17th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
Tony was born on Wednesday, September 6th, 1961, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, to the late Duane Goodwin and Juanita Lee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by uncle and aunt, Bill and Orabell Lackey; brother, David Goodwin; step-father, Billy Lee; granddaughters, Jasmine Goodwin and Jamie Goodwin.
He is survived by son, Jody Goodwin; grandchildren, Jade, Gabe, Maddie, CiCi, Layla, and Little Jody; brothers, Mike, Tommy (Tracie), and Bubba (Eva); sisters, Michelle and Theresa (Greg); nieces, Hannah (Sam) Sage, Hayley (Trevor) West, Caitlin (Justin) Smotherman, and Bailey Lasater; nephews, Daniel (Chuikob) Eatherly, Lee Lasater, and Blake Lee; great-nieces and great-nephews, Hattie, Sawyer, Saylor, Ella Grace, and Wrenleigh; many friends and loved ones also survive.
Tony was avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and deer hunting. He was a devoted employee of Blusky Restoration. Tony was a man with many friends and they have all since become family.
