Tony Gragg Obituary

Tony Elijah Gragg, age 68, of Clayton, Ga., passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025.
He was born on Oct. 2, 1956, in Rabun County, Ga., to the late Ernest Lee Gragg and Lena Hunnicutt Gragg.
Tony proudly served in the United States Navy for 10 years. During his service, he worked as a diesel mechanic, specializing in submarine maintenance and conducting test runs to ensure operational readiness. He was also stationed aboard the USS Pegasus. After his military career, Tony spent many years working as a truck driver and later as a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Collins Gragg; his children, Elijah James Gragg (Holly), Casey Lee Gragg, and Danielle Gragg Harmon (Chris); and his grandchildren, Elsa Gragg, Jordan Gragg, Rebecca Prestwood, Jaydn Prestwood, Dani Williams, Tallulah Harmon and Boone Harmon. He is also survived by his sister, Lynette Alley (Lamar); brother-in-law, Lee Hamilton; and one uncle, Ed Hunnicutt.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Godfrey Cemetery, with Rev. Jonathan Eller officiating.
