GREENE – Tony Greene, age 82 of Loganville, GA, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 29, 2025 at Sharon Baptist Church, 5690 S. Sharon Church Road, Loganville, with Pastor Adam Herrington officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Tony served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, earning a Purple Heart Medal. He was employed with Bell South and retired with 27 years of service. Tony was preceded in death by his son, Charles Anthony Greene; parents, Charley Floyd and Frances Rebecca (Guthrie) Greene. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 60 years, Linda Greene of Loganville; son, Tracy Greene of Loganville; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry (Scott) Sandt of Flowery Branch; brother and sister-in-law, Len (Elaine) Greene of Loganville; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon (Mike) Norris of Loganville; 3 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
