Tony Visarraga Obituary
Tony Edward Visarraga, 91, a Korean Veteran, born in Penasco to Abel and Senaida Visarraga, passed away peacefully at home.
Tony is preceded in death by his beloved wife Luisa; son-in-law Macario Griego; brother’s Abreliano and wife Lucy, Albino and wife Vangie, and George Visarraga; nephew’s Joseph and Leroy; neice Veronica Lopez.
Tony is survived by his children Edward, Tony Jr., Beverly and Martin, Maryann and Carl; granddaughter Amy Archuleta; loved like a son Charles Romero (Dora); cousin and Godson Ivan Roybal (Christine); sister-in-law’s Corina Visarraga, Oralia Visarraga and family, Michael, Eugene, Norman, Wayne (Eutimia), Herbert (Valerie) and Alonzo (Grace). Family in Utah Lorraine Navarrette, Joann and Charlie Vigil, Steve Lopez, Rose Ellen, Bernice, Steven and Michelle, William and Gloria Visarraga.
A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 9:00 am at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church in Penasco, NM, with a Mass to follow at 10:00 am. Following Mass, the Burial will take place on 1:30 pm at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM.
Serving as Pallbearer’s: Michael, Wayne, Herbert, Eugene, Norman and Alonzo Visarraga.
