Tony Ray Warren, 59, of Arlington, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
He was born on April 14, 1966, in Ardmore and raised in Harrah under Oklahoma skies. From an early age, Tony's love for sports and being outdoors filled his days and would shape him into the man he became. He graduated from Harrah High School in the Class of 1984, where his passion for wrestling and football flourished. During his free time, he loved roaming the countryside of Oklahoma, searching for untouched fishing holes. Those early years established his defining qualities of unmatched discipline, determination, and a drive for constant improvement that would guide him throughout his life.
Tony wore many hats as a loving husband and father, cherished brother, fearless coach, and patient teacher. He spent 30 years working as a coach and teacher in North Texas, where he built not just a career but a legacy of hard work and lifelong friendships. More than anything, Tony cherished his time as a teacher of life and seeing his impact on all those around him. He enjoyed teaching students about all things outdoors, coaching his wrestlers and softball players, teaching his family how to fish and cook amazing food, and believed in always leaving things better than he found them. For the last 5 years of his life, he worked as a Director of Facilities at Daltile until the week before he passed. During this time, he left an impact on all levels of employees and contractors. One of his greatest joys came from simply being able to share his knowledge with all he crossed paths with.
Those who knew Tony will remember his unwavering kindness, strong presence, hardworking nature, attention to detail, bold sense of humor, and his ability to "roll with it, not in it." He made friends with everyone he met, even family members from his wife's family who spoke only Spanish. To them, he was lovingly known as the crazy "gringo" with an extreme spice tolerance who would "work like a sled dog."
He is survived by his wife, Veronica Morales-Warren; his son, Teague Warren; his stepchildren, Diego Morales and wife Kandyl Morales, Andres Morales, and Daniela Morales; his sisters, Leigh Ann Benton and Shannon Benton-Strickland; and his brothers, Everett Warren and Blake Hosler, who will carry his memory forward with great pride. Tony loved fishing and hunting with his children and friends, spending time at the ranch with his wife, and found new joy in traveling the world with his wife and kids.
A Celebration of Life Service honoring Tony will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at The White Room, 2227 W. Park Row Dr., Suite H, Pantego, TX 76013. Friends and family are invited to gather and share memories in his honor.
The family gratefully welcomes flowers or memory plants, which may be delivered to The White Room, where they will be displayed and enjoyed during the memorial service. There will also be an opportunity during the service for friends and loved ones to share a few words, a memory, or a story about Tony and the impact he had on their lives.

Tony nació el 14 de abril de 1966 en Ardmore y creció en Harrah, bajo los cielos de Oklahoma. Durante 30 trabajó como maestro y entrenador en el norte de Texas, donde no solo forjó una carrera, sino que dejó un legado de amistad y trabajo duro para toda la vida. Tony valoraba más que cualquier otra cosa su papel como maestro de vida y ver el impacto que causaba en quienes lo rodeaban. Disfrutaba enseñando a sus alumnos a descubrir la naturaleza, compartiendo nuevas técnicas con sus luchadores y jugadoras de sóftbol y transmitiendo a su familia el gusto por la pesca y la buena cocina. Tenía una increíble capacidad para hacer amistades, incluso con los miembros de la familia de su esposa que solo hablaban español para quienes era conocido con cariño como el "gringo loco" con una tolerancia extrema al picante y porque "trabajaba sin descanso."
Le sobreviven su esposa, Verónica Morales-Warren; su hijo, Teague Warren; sus hijastros, Diego Morales y su esposa Kandyl Morales, Andrés Morales y Daniela Morales; sus hermanas, Leigh Ann Benton y Shannon Benton-Strickland; y sus hermanos, Everett Warren y Blake Hosler, quienes mantendrán vivo su recuerdo con gran orgullo. A Tony le encantaba pescar y cazar con sus hijos y amigos, pasar tiempo en el rancho con su esposa y encontró una nueva pasión, la de viajar por el mundo con su esposa e hijos.
