Tony Whittington Obituary
Willow Spring, NC: Mr. Tony Gene Whittington, age 65, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at his residence. A Celebration of Life will be given in loving memory of our brother, Saturday, September 16, 2023, at the home of Bonnie Whitley, 719 Mt. Pleasant Road, Willow Spring, NC 27592, from 3 pm to 6 pm.
This is a celebration!! We will be having a cook out of hotdogs and hamburgers for friends and family!
Please come and help us Celebrate the Life of Tony!! He is sorely missed!
Come Early and stay late if you like! Bring desserts or whatever! But, please come.
Tony was born on August 26, 1957 in Harnett County, NC to the late Leonard Ira Whittington and Claudia Norris Whittington Norris. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Allen Whittington, and brothers-in-law, Johnny Bailey, and Tommie Whitley. Tony retired as a fabricator with Whitley Metals in Willow Spring, NC.
Survivors include his siblings, Vickie Whittington and husband, Tex; Ann Whittington, Dale Whittington and wife, Lorie, Bonnie Whitley, Lewis Whittington and wife, Angie; Chris Whittington and wife, Lisa; sister-in-law, Hope Whittington; many nieces and nephews.
The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers.
