Mr. Toy Rex Turner 72 of Roswell departed this life January 27, 2025. Mr. Turner was born in Cumming to his parents, Toy Andrew and Eulene Pirkle Turner. Mr. Turner was a lifelong resident of the area and attended the Zion Hill Baptist Church for many years. Mr. Turner proudly served in the United States Army for 4 years, he enjoyed cooking and especially sweets! He was the youngest of his siblings, everyone that knew him will sorely miss the warm and gentle man that he was.
Mr. Turner is preceded in death by his parents, Toy Andrew and Eulene Turner, brothers Powell Turner and Troy Turner.
Survivors include his sister, Janie Willis (Fred) and sister-in-law, Janet Turner and a very special friend Philip Stiakakis as well as nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Toy Rex Turner will be Saturday February 1, 2025, from the Silver City Baptist Church with Rev. Steven Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Gardens. Visitation will be Friday January 31, 2025, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM.
