Tracey Gwen Fregia, 42, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, in Beaumont, Texas. She was born on September 3, 1981, in Houston, Texas to the late Michael Alvin Smith and Velma Diana Moody.
She was known for her infectious smile and ability to find humor in any situation. “Tata’s” home was always a welcoming haven. Whether it was baking a cake, crafting, or simply enjoying a cup of coffee on the porch. Tracey’s door was open to all who needed help or a friendly chat. She had such a passion for life and never met a stranger. Always offering a helping hand and giving heart to her family and friends. Sean and Kevin “her boys” were the center of her universe and she loved them unconditionally. Tata is going to be missed, but she will be waiting for us on heavens front porch.
Tracey is preceded in death by her parents, Michael Alvin Smith and Velma Diana Moody; son, Kevin Fregia; sister, Jennifer Smith. She is survived by her son, Sean Smith; sisters, Angelia Sexton and husband Mark, Maranda Lege and husband Josh, Stacey Lynn Gulley and husband Willie Z. Jr., and Casey Smith; brother, Steven Funderburk and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Faith and Family Funeral Services, Batson, Texas. Funeral Services to begin at 1:00 pm officiated by Pastor James Cain at Faith and Family Funeral Services, Batson, Texas. Private burial to follow.
Honoring Tracey as pallbearers are Rodney Fregia, Dustin Smith, Colton Allison, Kolton Boles, Brandon Campbell and Jacob Ojeda. Honorary pallbearers are Joshua Lege and Mark Sexton.
