Traci King Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Eternity Funeral Homes & Crematory - Jacksonville on Mar. 10, 2026.
Traci Joy Davis King, 50, of Fernandina Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was called home to the Lord after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer. Traci leaves behind a legacy of quiet strength, unwavering love, and a heart that touched everyone she met.

Born on April 22, 1975, at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, Traci grew up embodying the warmth and kindness that defined her life. She graduated from Fernandina Beach High School in 1993, embarking on a life marked by dedication to her family and simple joys. Traci worked for a time at Walmart, where her gentle nature and reliability shone through in all she did. She found joy in everyday moments, such as leisurely strolls along the beach. She never complained, facing life's challenges with grace and a beautiful heart of gold that endeared her to all.

Traci was, above all, a devoted mother to her two sons, Tyler Evan Davis and Trevor Joseph Davis, whom she cherished deeply. Being a great mother was the most important thing to her, and she poured her love into nurturing them with kindness and wisdom. She was preceded in death by her dear brother, Evan Carl King. Traci is survived by her loving parents, Carl Edward King and Joy Jernigan King; her brothers, Jeremy Aaron King and Jonathan Edward King; her sister, Hope Amanda King; as well as cherished nieces and nephews who will forever carry her memory.

Traci's life was a testament to the power of quiet compassion, reminding us that true beauty lies in the gentleness we show others. There are no events scheduled at this time, allowing those who knew her to honor her in their own heartfelt ways. She will be deeply missed, but her light continues to shine in the lives she so profoundly touched.
