Traci Lynn Payne, 53, of Nettleton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 6th, 2026 at the North Mississippi Medical Center surrounded by her family and friends. Her life was a living testimony of the saving grace of her Lord. No words can describe the impact she made on countless lives. She was faithful first and foremost to her Lord, and also to His church. She served many roles at Limestone Baptist Church, with the greatest one being “an example of the believer" (1 Timothy 4:12).
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Wesley and June Gray, Bill and Virginia Keith; two aunts, Deb Hester and Carolyn Kimble.
She leaves behind her husband, Brad Payne; her son, Steven Payne; her parents, Dale and Marilyn Gray; her brother, Randy (Nicole) Gray; her father and mother-in-law, Robert and Janelle Payne; her brothers-in law,Larry Payne, Garry Payne and Timmy (Teresa) Skelton; her sisters-in-law, Sherry Eaton and Lisa (Loren) Olsen; her nephews, Brady Gray, Gracen Gray, Caleb Payne, Jordan Skelton, Kyle Gifford and Justin Gifford;her nieces, Kelly Payne, Casey Payne, Jessica Skelton, Rachel Skelton, Maleah Eaton, Taylor Eaton and Breann Rhudy.
Services for Traci are scheduled for 3 P.M., Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Limestone Baptist Church, Nettleton, MS, with Bro. Chris McCord, Bro. Garry Carroll and Bro. Randy Gray officiating. A graveside commencement will immediately follow the funeral service. Visitation will be held 12-3 P.M., Sunday, preceding the funeral service. Pallbearers will be Kade Baker, Wesley Baker, Cody Hankins, Corey Chaney, Brady Gray and Gracen Gray.
