On Saturday, September 23, 2023, Traci Anne Schilling of Udall, Kansas, went to her Heavenly home at the age of 47.
Traci was born on October 8, 1975 to Douglas and Mary (Bittner) Farrell in Eldora, IA. She grew up in Eldora and attended the Eldora-New Providence school district. Traci welcomed her first son, Michael in the Spring of 1992.
On January 17, 1998 she was united in marriage to Dean Schilling in Eldora, IA. In the early months of 2000, Dean and Traci moved their family to Wellington, Kansas. In addition to Michael, they were blessed with four more children; Austin (1999), Sam (2003), Troy (2007), and Daniel (2008).
Traci was a dedicated wife and mother. Family meant everything to her. She touched the lives of everyone she met. She could make friends with perfect stangers and always left their lives better because they knew her. Her laugh and smile were infectious. She enjoyed taking her truck mudding, camping with Dean and the kids, and swimming in their pond. She had a great love for all animals, especially her dog Shay.
Traci stayed at home to care for their children until they were older when she started working outside the home. Most recently, she was employed by Derby Central as a lead cook. She loved cooking for the kids and knowing that she was making a difference for them.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Gretchen and Dale Bittner, Charlotte Nichols and her uncle Dale E. Bittner.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Dean, their five children, Michael (Michelle) Norem of McKinleyville, CA, Austin (Abby Hileman) Schilling of Derby, KS, Sam Schilling of Udall, KS, Troy and Daniel still at home, her parents, Douglas Farrell, Mary Farrell, her siblings, Amber (Blake) Owens, Nikki (Travis Lenz) Farrell, John (Nicole) Farrell, Matthew (Kelsey) Farrell, 5 nieces, 7 nephews, 3 great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
