Traci Tobias Obituary
Celebration of Life service for Traci Marie (Leitner) Tobias, 43, of Salado, TX will be 6pm, December 4th at Crossroads Church Belton, with Pastor Brian Crane officiating.
Traci passed away November 28th, 2025, at St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center, Round Rock, TX, surrounded by her family and close friends. She was born on December 4th, 1981, at Scott and White Memorial Hospital to Kim and Kathy (Eckels) Leitner. She went on to become a lifelong learner, earning her Paramedic License in 2007, Associate Degree of Nursing in May of 2019, Bachelor of Science in Nursing in August of 2021. She was working toward her Master of Science in Nursing with an end goal of becoming a Nurse Practitioner.
Throughout the course of Traci’s life she was blessed with 5 stepchildren Juan Tobias, Jose Tobias, Reyna Fernandez, Joe Tobias and Jaime Tobias. Traci was honored and delighted to have many step grandchildren and bonus children whom she loved with her whole heart. On May 4th, 2003, Traci gave birth to Juaquin Christopher Valdez Tobias, her pride and joy. She poured her heart and soul into raising Juaquin.
In one final act of selfless love, Traci made the decision to donate life. Her organs were matched to numerous individuals around the nation.
Traci is survived by her son Juaquin Christopher Valdez Tobias, her father Kim Leitner, her stepchildren Juan Tobias, Jose Tobias, Reyna Fernandez, Joe Tobias, Jaime Tobias and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Her Mother Kathy A. (Eckels) Leitner, her grandparents Letha and Hans Leitner and her sister Sandra Fisher.
