ADRIAN – Tracie Lee Filipek, age 70, of Adrian, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 7, 2025. She was born in Adrian on March 8, 1955, to the late Thomas C. and Twila M. (Lemm) Brown. After she graduated from Onsted High School, she held several jobs, including U.S. Forest Service, Leoni Veterinary Hospital as a Veterinary Technician, and most recently at JJ Western Boots. She also spent some time cleaning houses.
In her free time, Tracie's number one priority was her family. She especially loved to spend time with her grandchildren. A very creative and artistic person, Tracie could turn garage sale and thrift store finds into works of art. She was a very easy going and an easy person to talk to.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, James (Kara) and Brad (Jamie Siders) Harris; grandchildren, Austin (Josie) Harris, Nicholas Siders, and Nicole Siders; great-grandchildren, Kash and Nova Harris; and brother, Terry (Jean "Bean") Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 1:00 – 3:00 PM, at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home in Adrian. Memorial services will follow at 3:00 PM, with Rev. William Van Valkenburg, officiating. Inurnment will take place at Maple Shade Cemetery in Onsted at a later date.
