Tracie Lynette Lora, nee (Grant), 53, of Kansas City, Kansas, departed this life on Monday, September 8, 2025. She was born on July 24, 1972, in Moline, Illinois to the union of Bobby Ray Grant Sr. of Louisville, MS and Virginia Marie Grant, nee (Jarrett), of Galesburg, IL. Tracie was the youngest of four children born to this union. She was baptized at an early age at Bible Temple Baptist Church in Kansas City, Kansas.

Tracie, relocated to Kansas City, Kansas at the tender age of nine with her mother and sister. She received her education in the Kansas City, Kansas school district. She attended Northwest Middle School where she participated in Track & Field and was a member of the String Orchestra where she excelled on her favorite instrument, the Cello; often performing as the Principal/Lead chair. At JC Harmon High School, Tracie participated in the Marching Band and played the Trombone. A short time after graduating, she was briefly married to her high-school sweet-heart. As a single-mother she held various positions in several industries that included: retail, gaming entertainment and distribution. She was employed with Pepsi, JC Penney Distribution Center, Harrah's and Flamingo Casino's. She also attended Wright Career College in pursuit of a career as a Surgical Technician until her declining health and the school closure.

Tracie was a kind, caring, empathetic, forgiving and humble woman who loved being a mother to her sons; the "apples of her eyes" and was lovingly called "Ma" by her grandson Zamir whom she adored. As a dedicated single-parent she volunteered at FL Schlagle High School for four years as a "Band Mother" and was lovingly referred to as, "Ms. Lora or Mama Lora." Tracie supported the school's band program by helping with task such as providing snacks, water and logistical support for band events and ensuring the well-being of the student musicians. Tracie's servitude included feeding the homeless in the community. She enjoyed cooking, watching movies and Kansas City Chiefs games with her family.

Tracie leaves to cherish her memory, sons: Felix Manuel Lora III, Keeyan Daron Hill and grandson, Zamir Ray Lora (Nahio A. Sidi-Mother) all of Kansas City, Kansas.

Siblings: Bobby R. Grant Jr, Randolph L. Grant, of Kansas City, Kansas and Teresa M. Grant-Williams (Ray) of Houston, TX.

Nephew/Niece: Brian Grant (Shaquita), Brianna Grant (Tyon), Bryce Grant (Kyara).

Great-Nephews/Nieces: Tyon Zachary Jr., I'yannah Zachary, A'drianna Zachary, Miri'ahna Zachary, Aniy'ah Grant, Bryce Grant, Jr., and Khelani Grant.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, infant child Marcus L. Hill Jr., her paternal and maternal grandparents and infant twin nieces, Desi`ree A. and Monique L. Williams.
