Tracie Severns Obituary Tracie Lynn (Jones) Severns, 67, of Hamilton, Illinois, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025, at her home in Hamilton.
Tracie was born on December 9, 1957, in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Thomas D. and Marilyn (Sweet) Jones. On April 21, 2000, she was united in marriage to Don Severns in Keokuk, Iowa. He survives.
Tracie was a cashier at Amoco and Caseys, where she met her husband. She was an animal-lover and could often be found gaming online with her friends, sitting on her porch, tending to her flower garden and taking rides down by the river. She was a true people-person and will always be remembered for her generous and cheerful attitude.
Tracie is survived by her husband Don Severns of Hamilton; her son Brian (Amber) Cooper of Keokuk; her mother Marilyn Jones; her brother: Kevin (Dee) Jones of Oskaloosa, Iowa; her sister Amy (Joe) Coulter of Chatham, Illinois; five grandchildren: Joey and Madison Cooper, Jordan Wadden, Rylan Worrell and Anthony Smith; three step-children; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Tracie is preceded in death by her father and her brother Tommy B. Jones.
