Tracie Snell, 58, of Havelock, NC, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on May 28, 1967, to parents Robert and Constance Lachance of Blackstone, MA. Tracie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She married her high school sweetheart, Wayne Snell, in 1987, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, friendship, and a devotion to Catholicism. She enjoyed boating, gardening, movies, reading and spending time with friends and family.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne (58); children, Nathan (37) and Ryan (31) and his wife Tess (31); grandchild, Bryson (12); brother, Robert Jr.; and sisters, Anne (Bishop), Joanne, and Judith. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lachance Sr.
A funeral mass will be held aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point’s St. Michael’s Chapel on January 23 at 9 a.m. Interment will follow at Forest Oaks Memorial Gardens. For those unable to attend, the service can be viewed through her obituary page on Munden Funeral Home’s website. The service will remain on the Funeral Home website for 90 days.
