Stephanie Duana Guy, 58, of Havelock, North Carolina, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Carolina East Medical Center.
Stephanie was born on October 16, 1967, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to the late Lawrence and Roberta Haloda. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose greatest joy was caring for those she loved. For over 28 years, she shared a beautiful marriage with her soulmate, Edward. Together they built an amazing life rooted in love and support.
Known affectionately as “Gramz” by her grandchildren, she cherished every moment spent with them and the countless memories they made. Stephanie had a special talent for crocheting, often making thoughtful handmade gifts for her family. She was a selfless caregiver who dedicated her life to caring for her family. Her nurturing spirit and gentle heart will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
Those left to treasure her memory are her loving husband, Edward Guy Jr. of the home; daughter, Nichole Thomas of Havelock, NC; son, Daniel Guy of South Carolina; brother, Michael Fronczek of Tarboro, NC; grandchildren, Madelynn Thomas, Wyatt Thomas, Valyree Thomas, D.J. Peterson, Riley Guy, Kailie Guy; a great grandchild on the way; and her beloved dog Hooch and cat Trixster.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her Go Fund Me in memory of Stephanie.
