Calvin L. Knapp, 72, of Warren, PA, died on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, in the Warren Manor after a brief illness.

He was born on June 3, 1953, in Warren, PA, the son of the late Leroy and Flossie Littlefield Knapp. He was a graduate of Warren Area High School. Calvin was born and raised in Warren, PA, until he joined the Marine Corps, and served a life in the Military. He served 20 years 2 months and 27 days with the United States Marine Corps, working in Aviation Ordnance and retired as a Gunnery Sergeant. He was a member of the Warren American Legion, he was an avid bowler, loved muscle cars especially his Hellcat.

Calvin was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra Sue Durst in 1988, and then his partner companion, Sandra Holmes in 2013.

He is survived by his three loving children, Cory L. Knapp and wife, Patti, of Ogema, WI, Casey G. Callaway and husband, Joe, of Watkinsville, GA, Kelly Greenstreet and husband, Jeff, of Havelock, NC; 4 grandchildren, Jillian and Dakota Callaway, and Taylor and Cassie Greenstreet; sister, Barb Heeter of Saybrook, PA; sister-in-law, Gloria Jean Knapp, niece, Leisa Bailey, nephew, Travis Knapp, niece, Tracey Carter, and nephew, Chanc Knapp, and numerous other extended family.

In addition to his parents, his wife, and his companion, Calvin was preceded in death by 3 siblings, Kay Greenwalt, Clyde Knapp, William Knapp.

Family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 pm on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA 16365. Funeral service will follow at 5:00 pm in the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Swanson, pastor of Pleasant Community Church, officiating. Military honors will be rendered by the Sheffield/Clarendon VFW's and the Warren American Legion Funeral Detail. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Warren, PA. Those wishing to place memorials may do so through Hospice of Warren County, 1 Main Ave. Warren, PA 16365.
