Eric O. Callicoat, 70, of Havelock, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Carolina East Medical Center.
Eric was born on September 25, 1955, in Marietta, Ohio, to the late Paul and Dortha Callicoat. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, a commitment that he took very seriously. Eric was a devoted husband and shared over 49 wonderful years with his beloved wife, Sandra.
In his free time, Eric enjoyed playing the guitar, and he had a lifelong passion for working on airplanes, appreciating the precision and craftsmanship involved. He was happiest when he had something to tinker with and improve. Eric was a family man who cherished time spent with his loved ones. He will be remembered for his steady presence, kind heart, and the many lives he touched.
Those left to treasure his memory are his loving wife Sandra of the home; sons, Dana Callicoat of Havelock, NC and Dustin Callicoat (Mariam) of Swansboro, NC; sister, Aabrana Monening of Akron, OH; granddaughter, Ruby Callicoat; and his dogs, Lolita, Pepper, Timmy T, and Domino.
