Rebecca Guy Obituary
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Rev. Keith and Sarah (Cyphers) Price. She spent her entire youth living in Church parsonages in Lancaster and Berks counties. She graduated from Hamburg Area High School and later Messiah College, after which she embarked on a career as an art teacher, first at King's Academy in Centerport, and then at Alliance (formerly Westmont) Christian Academy in Pottstown. She married Michael A. Guy, and together with him raised two beautiful daughters: Jessica and Elisa. Becky was a committed Christian and a devoted Church worker, leading study groups, organizing outreach ministries, and serving as a marriage mentor and Stephen minister. She was loved and respected by teachers and students alike and touched many lives with her compassionate spirit. Becky considered motherhood her highest calling and would do anything for her girls. She enjoyed cooking, baking, playing games, cuddling with her dogs, and spending time with her family. She was widely known for her spectacular decorated cakes.
Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are two daughters: Jessica D. and Elisa F. Guy; and a brother: Mark A. Price, husband of Carrie F. (Wilhelm) Price, Birdsboro. She was predeceased by an infant brother: James C. Price.
A Celebration of Becky's Life will be held at New Ridge Fellowship Church, 2211 Swamp Pike, Gilbertsville, PA 19525 on Saturday, February 21, 2026. The service will begin promptly at 10:30 am. Private burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Narvon, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be sent to: Alliance Christian School, 837 S. Hanover Street, Pottstown, PA 19465. The contributions will be used to create the Rebeccas S. Guy Scholarship fund for the school.
