Tracy Burgess Obituary
Tracy Lynn Burgess, 60, a current resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Friday evening, October 17, 2025, in a Chattanooga, TN hospital. She was born on May 17, 1965, in Miami, FL a daughter of the late Lynwood and Meryl Metcalf. Tracy was of the Christian faith and loved to cross stich in her past time. She loved horse racing, especially the Kentucky Derby, the Budweiser Clydesdales, and taking care of her beloved cats.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory one son Kenneth Burgess of Hymera, IN, one daughter Janet Bell of Ooltewah, TN, her ex-husband and caregiver William Burgess, two cousins Dallas Metcalf of Ocala, FL and Linda Ruthledge of Windham, NH, numerous other family members and a host of special friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 5-7 PM in the Ridge chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2412 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN. A service celebrating Tracy's life will follow the visitation time at 7:00 PM on Thursday evening.
