Tracy Frances Cook, 55, a retired teacher, died September 12, 2025, at St. Dominics Hospital, Jackson MS. Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS is handling the arrangements.
She graduated from Clarksdale High School, Blue Mountain Collage and master's from University of Mississippi. She taught English in France and French at Ole Miss.
Survivors include her daughter Sadie Cook of Clarksdale, MS parents Jimmy Cook and Peggy Meredith Cook of Clarksdale, MS, brother Dale Cook (Frances West) of Clarksdale, MS, sister, Mary (Stephen) Wilkinson of Rena Lara, MS, niece Meredith Wilkinson, nephews Jimmy Dale Cook III and Larson Cannon Cook.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Frank and Sadie Dykes Cook, Ray and Guylee Rickles Meredith.
