Tracy K. Hedlund, 48 of
Albion, NE, passed away Monday, June 10, 2024, at University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, NE, surrounded by family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2024, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in
Albion, NE with Fr. Stan Schmit and Deacon Paul Weeder officiating. Private family interment will follow at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery,
Albion, NE. There will not be a gathering following Tracy's funeral service. The Hedlund family thanks you for attending today, and also for all of your kind words and expressions of sympathy. Visitation will be held 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday at St. Michael's Catholic Church with a 7:00 p.m. wake service.
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.

Tracy Kay Hedlund, daughter of Richard and Janet (Engelhaupt) Ellwanger was born on February 29, 1976, in Sargent, NE. Tracy was baptized and confirmed into the catholic faith at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Butte, NE. Tracy attended Butte High School and graduated with the class of 1994. Following high school, Tracy went to the University of South Dakota where she earned her degree in nursing.
On July 7, 1995, Tracy married the love of her life, Randall C. Hedlund at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Butte, NE. From this union they were blessed with five children. The couple lived in Vermillion, SD and Bloomington, MN before moving to
Albion, NE in 2000. Tracy has been a registered nurse at Boone County Health Center along with being a coach, wife, mother, and grandmother.
Tracy was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, chairman of the Albion Softball program, participated in Teammates, and was on the board for St. Michael's School and the Country Club. Tracy was a fan of the Huskers and Boone Central Cardinals. She enjoyed attending her children's activities and sports throughout the years. She was beyond proud of all of them!

Albion, NE; five children: Tyler (Braley) Hedlund of Omaha, NE; Tessa (Scott) Ketteler of Lincoln, NE; Lauren Hedlund of Sioux City, IA; Ashtyn Hedlund of Kearney, NE; Addy Hedlund of
Albion, NE; granddaughter: Meredith Hedlund of Omaha, NE; parents: Richard and Janet Ellwanger of Butte, NE; sister: Cari (Jason) Hausmann of Bonesteel, SD; brother: Wade Ellwanger of Butte, NE; mother-in-law and father-in-law Dean and Diane Hedlund of O'Neill, NE; four brothers-in-law: Kelly (Jill) Hedlund of
Manhattan, KS; Todd (Kelly Ann) Hedlund of Lincoln, NE; Mike (Carol) Hedlund of O'Neill, NE; Troy (Deb) Hedlund of Sioux City, NE; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Al and Laurine Engelhaupt and Bob and Irene Ellwanger.
