Tracy Scott Joseph, a man whose life exemplified the virtues of faith, passion, and selflessness, was called home on January 19, 2026, following a heart attack. Born on October 29, 1961, Tracy’s journey on earth spanned 64 years marked by a profound commitment to serving others and living out his Christian faith with fervor and dedication.

Tracy's early life was shaped by the love and guidance of his parents, Diane and Harold Gay Joseph. Alongside his brother, Chris, and sister, Lori, Tracy grew up in an environment that fostered a strong sense of community and kinship. This foundation of family support was evident in Tracy's life as he later embraced the joy of fatherhood with his daughter, Jenevieve, and shared his life with his loving girlfriend, Lori.

In June 2021, Tracy took on the role of Executive Director & CEO of StreetWise Georgia, an organization that was a testament to his life's work. His leadership at StreetWise was characterized by humility and service, as he often referred to himself as a volunteer, despite his executive title. Tracy's tenure at StreetWise was marked by his hands-on approach and his unwavering commitment to uplifting the dignity and God-given potential of all individuals served by the organization.

Before his impactful work at StreetWise, Tracy's journey included a vibrant career as a professional musician who traveled extensively, sharing his love for music through the melodies of his trumpet. His artistic talents were paralleled by his entrepreneurial spirit, as he became a respected contractor, developer, and designer, building dreams for others with the same passion he brought to every endeavor.

Tracy's faith journey began at the tender age of 16 when he became a Christian, a decision that would steer the course of his life towards a path of devotion and service. He was known within his community for his willingness to "get his hands dirty" and for actively fostering partnerships that supported families and teens, thereby expanding the mission of StreetWise Georgia.

A man of varied interests, Tracy found solace in the peaceful surroundings of botanical gardens and was a devoted student of the Bible, continually seeking to deepen his understanding of his faith. His life was a living sermon, a testament to the power of living a life anchored in Christian values.

In remembering Tracy, we are reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." (2 Timothy 4:7). Tracy indeed fought the good fight, living out his faith through his actions and leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and unwavering commitment to his beliefs.

Tracy Scott Joseph's life was a beacon of hope and a reminder that we are all called to serve a purpose greater than ourselves. His memory will continue to inspire and guide us, as we carry forward the torch of compassion and service that he held so high.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to StreetWise Georgia in honor of Tracy and his passion for serving others. In the notes section, please indicate that the gift is in memory of Tracy Joseph. Donations can be made at https://streetwisegeorgia.org/donate/

A GoFundMe has been established to support Tracy’s daughter, whom he loved fiercely and supported through many medical challenges. Caring for her was one of Tracy’s greatest honors and priorities, and we know he would want to see her continue to be cared for and supported. We ask that you keep her in your prayers and consider supporting in any way you’re able. https://www.gofundme.com/f/supporting-jenna-after-her-fathers-loss
